The 34th China Fur & Leather Products Fair held from 15 to 18, Jan. 2008, at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing, covering an area of 25000㎡, attracted 295 Exhibitors from 14 countries. The Event approved by Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, is organized by China National Native Produce and Animal By-Products Imp. & Exp. Corp. and Sunry Advertising & Exhibition Co., Ltd. with the support from International Fur Trade Federation (IFTF) and China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce and Animal By-Products.

A fur fashion show at the opening night is given a name “Golden Year”. The designer use the color of Olympic ring - green, red, blue, black and yellow respectively as the design inspiration, endow the noble fur with Olympic spirit, and show their Olympic passion to the world. The show “Golden Year” presents a wonderful visual feast and meaning that china fur industry has been ready to preparing for 2008 - the “golden year”.

In the 34th fair, the major fur countries came here including China, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Australia, British, America, Germany, Spain, Norway, Italy, Korea and Hong Kong, totally 14 countries and district. The world famous fur organizations and companies also came together, such as NAFA, SAGA, Finnish Fur Sales, Copenhagen Fur, American Legend and Russia Fur Sale. About 13975 visitors from 16 counties have visited the fair.

The fair has made a notable contribution to China fur industry, and become China's most important export and import window for its function of setting image, exploring market, building contact and doing business.
