Beijing – September 8, 2009
An early taste of winter greeted the audience attending NAFA’s 2009-2010 media event held at the Bridge Art Center in Chaoyang
District on the evening of September 8, 2009. The event showcased the latest designs from major international designers beautifully
crafted with the finest NAFA Mink, Fox, Northern Wild Fur and Black NAFA furs.
The winter garden scene was the perfect backdrop for this year’s latest fashion trends with casual vests in NAFA Raccoon from Nina
Ricci and Louis Feraud’s NAFA Red Fox. Little feminine Black NAFA jackets from Dennis Basso and Michael Kors lit up the runway with
their charm and easy elegance.
Guy Laroche’s romantic NAFA White mink hooded jacket stole the audience’s heart right from the opening scene, while Jean Paul
Gautier’s military look in NAFA Badger, Fisher and Black NAFA complete with open net over vests were strong modern looks.
Zac Posen’s sharply fitted NAFA Muskrat and Long Haired Beaver Jacket was perfectly sexy over a pencil thin skirt in a contemporary
look. Oscar de la Renta’s collection included two of the hottest trends of the season – long vests in NAFA Mahogany Mink and an
uber cool little jacket in NAFA Blue Iris Mink.
Andy Té Anh from Canada proved that small is definitely beautiful with his trio of vests in NAFA Northern Raccoon, Muskrat and
Coyote. The creaminess of NAFA’s Can/Am Sable by Caroline Herrera was both ladylike and classic, two of this year’s biggest trends.
And without a doubt Emanuel Ungaro’s tinted NAFA Silver Fox jacket shouted glamour the moment it appeared on stage.
The finale comprised on Black NAFA garments from every one of the international designers was breathtaking as snow gently fell on the
stage. Pushing NAFA’s glamour rating over the top was the unique Wayne Clark piece selected as this year’s NAFA Signature garment.
This piece epitomizes everything about Black NAFA, elegance, desirability and most definitely sex appeal.
NAFA’s event clearly demonstrated the range and diversity of the NAFA products all sold under the NAFA family of brands. Beyond this
the event proved once and for all that these one of a kind originals are all examples of art and artistry.
